Omega 3:

Cold water fishes, cod liver oil, walnuts, chia seeds, hemp seeds, egg yolks and herring are some great sources of Omega 3.

Apple Cider Vinegar:

Apple cider vinegar eases the signs of lupus due to its anti-inflammatory properties. Besides, it boosts the production of hydrochloric acid in the body which is essential in lupus. It also helps in development of good bacteria in the gut and nutrient absorption as well. All you need to mix 1 tbsp. of raw and organic ACV in a glass of warm water. Drink it before your meals.

Coconut Oil:

Coconut oil is beneficial for both immune systems and gut, given that lupus is associated with immune system and guts. Use coconut oil in your cooking, smoothies and beverages. You can consume 2 tbsp. of virgin coconut oil daily.

Precautions You Must Keep in Mind:

Using home remedies is not enough. Apart from that, follow the precautions given below:

  • Visit your physician for regular checkups
  • Don’t take physical and mental stress
  • Do yoga, swimming, meditation and workouts
  • Take adequate rest and sleep
  • Minimize intake of alcohol and smoking

  • If your pain is extreme, or having stiff and swollen joints, avoid and limit your activities which can worse your pain.
