Tea Tree Oil:

Tea tree oil is said to be a panacea for all skin problems including jock itch. This is because it is rich in natural antifungal properties, antibacterial property, deep cleansing and stimulating elements.

Just dip a cotton ball into the tea tree oil diluted with some parts of water. Dab it on the affected area twice time a day.

(Make sure to dilute tea tree oil first with some parts of water as concentrated form can cause burning sensation)

Apple Cider Vinegar:

Apple cider vinegar is rich in antifungal and antibacterial properties, making it a great remedy for jock itch. It minimizes the signs like rashes and redness. All you need to mix one tbsp. of the vinegar to a glass of cold water. Mix it well and wash the affected part with that. Let your skin dry naturally. Repeat it twice times a day.

Garlic:

Garlic is an easily available home remedy in your kitchen. Considering that it is loaded with anti-fungal properties, it can minimize itching and pain associated with jock itch. Just make a garlic paste and apply it on the affected part of the skin. Wait for 10-15 minutes and rinse it off with warm water. Do this twice a day to see improvement.

Onions

Like garlic, onions are simple home remedy for jock itch. They contain anti-fungal, antibiotic and anti-inflammatory properties.

Grind onions to make a thick paste. Now, apply this paste of onion to the skin part and leave it for half an hour. Rinse it off with cold water. Pat it dry with a towel.

Epsom Salt Bath:

Epsom is high on sulfate and magnesium, making it anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial and skin recovery natural remedy for jock itch. Taking an Epsom salt bath helps you overcome various skin diseases.

Add 1-3 cups of Epsom salt to a regular size of bath tub. Stir well. Soak for 20 minutes. Afterwards, pat it dry with a towel.

With the help of these home remedies, you can treat your jock itch at home. Besides, take care of your personal hygiene.
